Anyhow - I supposed I should start with what's happened since my last journal: Film! In an odd-ball backwards style I've swung from digital photography into using real cameras. The cost of film, developing and printing is more annoying than I anticipated but I can enlarge these photos onto to something worth exhibiting one day. The endless techniques of the photographic world I'm entering beats the point-and-shoot variety hands down, no more swearing at the auto-focus of my long-suffering digital camera (there's a picture of it in my scraps)
Lately though I've been using a Pentax K-1000 and a P-30, the latter has a wide-angle lens, interchangable with the one on the K-1000. I discovered the use of a polariser too ... and I love it.
I'll have many devations up soon and if anyone has something they'd really like me to see or a news to share then Note Me Please because I doubt I'll get through the entire swamp of deviations and messages I've got at the moment.
I hope all college students out there have recovered sufficiently from their big-persons exams and good luck for all your results!
Remember to recycle your aluminium products and try to love the world!
Laura.

Hope you don't mind
